The Super Affiliate Handbook has been around for many years. It’s allegedly sold thousands of copies. So, how good is it? In my opinion, it’s a solid course. And in comparison to other affiliate marketing courses out there, it’s one of the best ones being sold online according to a lot of people.I’ve purchased several other courses in the last few years about affiliate marketing & making money online. Let’s take a look at a few of the other good ones & compare them.I bought Chris Rempel’s Confessions of Lazy Super Affiliate & it’s got some pretty good advice about making money from affiliate programs by using software to promote the programs. I liked Chris’ attention to detail & the fact that he actually shows a few of his markets & how much he made doing what. Pretty cool stuff but a little advanced for newer marketers who aren’t skilled in the art of software design. In comparison, the Super Affiliate Handbook is a LOT bigger course. It has much more detail- it’s got dozens of pages on actual affiliate programs. It covers things that advanced marketers often forget to write about. Probably because they assume everyone already knows the basics. The SAH starts from scratch.
Then there’s Affilorama’s Affiloblueprint which I bought last month. This is also a pretty high quality course. And it’s worth every penny of the $197 that it is sold for…mainly because it contains hours of VIDEO. Video isn’t cheap to produce & it’s a lot easier to learn when you see someone actually doing something.
In contrast, the Super Affiliate Handbook comes in a pdf format. Quite frankly, while video works very well for Affiloblueprint, I think that text & links are the perfect format for this course…There really is too much material to cover in a video course without leaving too much out…And, the courses are dramatically different in scope too… While Affiloblueprint walks you through the process of setting up a very profitable affiliate website, the SAH covers a much wider array of topics- it gives you a little bit of everything…

The Way to Become Very Successful as an Affiliate
While people are drawn to affiliate marketing for the chance to make a good income, most never reach this goal. Most people never learn the basic elements necessary to create a viable business. You don’t have much of a chance if you leave out something essential when you set up your business. The points we’ll be covering in this article will make it easier for you to start off the right way with your affiliate marketing business.
You Can’t be Impatient: We’ve all seen the extravagant claims in ads that tell you how an affiliate can start making lots of money right away. While this isn’t completely wrong, it doesn’t apply to someone who is just starting out with affiliate marketing and is learning the ropes. Even the most successful affiliate marketers were once newbies, but they had the patience to take it step by step until they were able to make it into a profitable endeavor. If you’re not very patient, you should try to overcome this tendency or it will hamper your ability to succeed. That’s because it’s typical to experience delays and setbacks when you start out, as when you launch a campaign and nothing happens. If you can manage to get through the tough times without losing hope, then you have a good chance at being one of the winners at the affiliate marketing game.
Walk in the Shoes of Your Prospects: The point of view you really have to understand if you want to succeed in affiliate marketing is that of your prospects and customers. You shouldn’t just look at your affiliate marketing business as a way to generate revenue for you, but rather a way to help people find the right solutions. The more you can look at things from their perspective, the better you’ll be able to serve their needs.
When you create your sites, offers and content, your objective has to be to address the concerns of your readers and visitors. This is one of the most important principles of affiliate marketing, and it remains true no matter what kind of offers you’re promoting.
You Need a Bit of Startup Capital: Contrary to the popular belief, affiliate marketing does require you to have some startup capital. A person with nothing to invest should try to accumulate a little money to cover some of the basic costs of the business. For example, you should really have things like a domain, web hosting and an autoresponder service. Avoiding these expenses is possible, but this will probably delay the amount of time it takes you to start making a profit. You’ll be in a stronger position with fewer roadblocks if you’re able to come up with a little money for your affiliate marketing business. Remember, every single step that you take towards making your affiliate marketing business successful matters, which is why you shouldn’t hesitate to put in the needed time and effort to get things on track.
